"Excellent Program, worked so much better than expected! :D"
This is fantastic! I copied over all of my DVDs that took up rooms of space, onto a terabyte HDD!
The encoder works very well and was able to copy over 150 DVDs varying from the late '90s to new releases like Oblivion and Skyfall; Films Made well after this software was published!(you'd think they'd change the encryption?!)
Out of circa 150 DVDs, only 5 couldn't be copied as they were very old & scratched (Cyclic Redundancy Error) and some just didn't want to play ball. But then, I was using 5 computers running the software to decrypt them and some DVDs that didn't work in one comp. would work on one of the others (bit weird,) So I recommend installing this on several PCs as each player is different and some DVDs wont work as-well in some drives as other ones. (also it would take bare long to use one PC! :O )
It took about an hour to analyse and encode each DVD (this was after
enabling the high quality analysis and high quality compression) and took up around 900GB of space for 150 DVDs (I did not compress the files at all, this is why it was so large!)
All in all, a quality DVD copier that is so easy to use and amazingly good at decrypting DVDs! Can't wait to see if it does Blu-Ray! :O
Only extra point is that some of the downloads (like this site's) didn't work; you have to download it from DVD shrink which you can go to if you click 'more info' and then another HTML link which sends you to a license agreement and download screen. You'll find it eventually!
Excellent programme; well done creators!
